It may not be that easy to accept the truth, but you are not safe in your living room. Yes, not everyone knows it and only a few may be aware of it but the dangerous products in your living room which you may ordinarily consider as safe home products can pose danger in your life and your family.
And what are these dangerous products? To name a few, the list includes air freshener, carpet cleaner, furniture cleaner, furniture polish, glass and window cleaner and even your fireplace and smoke detector. You may ask why these products are considered dangerous. First reason is the harmful materials making up these products. Air freshener for instance has harmful substances that can impair one's internal system as well as pose danger to our environment. Among these substances are formaldehyde, petroleum distillates and aerosol propellants. The same is true to carpet cleaners and furniture cleaners not to mention that they are also flammable. With the ammonia present in cleaners, irritation of the eyes, nose, skin and throat are surely to occur. What's worst about the harmful substances and chemicals is when they start reacting with each other as stimulated by the environment. These reactions may lead to explosions or fire which is a sure damage not only to the other products and object in your living room but in other rooms as well.
